Every writer who has ever sent me samples hoping to get a project has sent me this sort of copy.
Just like handing out free samples of your latest candy or cookie. I view my own blogging as (1) a demonstration of my ability, and (2) a free sample of my paid info-products. So you have to give out samples. Gee, what an appealing proposition. I agree with Michael Martine’s wise comment: blogging IS marketing.
When the job ad says email us with information and samples, don’t tweet us and say, “Just click here.&# DON’T have low self-esteem. Rhodester – Well, it was the sample article that included the porn star in a bikini. Work hours: 1) But try to hide it. DO follow instructions. Because we won’t.
Especially when you’re inexperienced, self-esteem issues come into play – having people you respect say that you’re doing something right. Free samples, yes.
