1) Focus your resume on your skills/talents vs the job title/chronology. Whatever bullet points and items they list that you do well, lift those sentences verbatim from the job description and put them in your resume. Call every single temping agency in town. Sometimes companies don’t validate for parking especially if you are doing testing at a temp agency and are there for a few hours. You’ll need to make copies of your resume or have a nice folder. You have to wear a different outfit each time. You will spend a lot on gas just driving around town or on business travel.

4) Start temping immediately. Your termination is more “in the past” than being the focal point of your resume because your first job description will be the temping stuff. I am also not sure if upon your exit interview, HR gave you any guidance on if you could collect unemployment, etc.
