Here are some of my favourites: Great Apps: Travel. This app is slightly expensive but worth paying for if your manager travels a lot. The app also gives access to real-time departure information, delays and gate numbers. You can set it for your current location or receive alerts from places you are planning to travel too.

One of the big things about traveling across several time zones – and then coming back after only a short period of time – is that the attempts to stick to your own time zone becomes all the more necessary. Imagine taking a six-day trip across four time zones…and trying to time shift in he process.

My brain is kind of messed up from flying through two time zones and into a third (from Pacific all the way to Eastern) – although usually it’s going west that causes problems.
