If they do pay for your training it may commit you to working at the company for a period of time, but it is worth it if it gets you one step closer to your goal.

You might also look for courses that will develop some new administrative and entrepreneurial skills that will expand your contributions to your company and can possibly save them from having to hire another employee to do that work.
