It was for catered food at a place that did not take payments over the phone with a credit card. Have money for job hunting and working. Whenever you interview for a job, there’s at least 2-3 interviews if not more. Now you know why it's always important to pay yourself first! :) Happy job hunting and working!

I did very well on my interviews and it's down to me and one other EA who already has a full time job. The staffing agent asked if I was open to temp to perm, even though the position was for a full time EA, he feels the CEO may need time to see if it is a good fit. It feels like a bait and switch and there are no guarantees.

One of the unexpected surprises was that once my contract ended all the recruiters that I worked with said I did well and offered to help me with my job hunt too! As I look for the right job, I always try to find short-term work, especially in an area I've never been exposed to so I can get more experience.

Now to answer your question on how you should address your termination while you job hunt. 1) Try to find someone who can be your reference from that job, but it doesn’t have to be from that company. An outside person could be a client, maybe a different boss (not the SVP or disapproving lady) or the person who got you that job.
