So instead of just having this rigid plan on a shelf, teams over prioritized visibility and communication, the work was broken down in weekly or biweekly or monthly sprints. There was daily visibility into what’s done, what’s blocked. And essentially team is running together towards that goal. It’s not a blame game.
And I’m incorporating and thinking about spiritual and health goals too, all the while of being mindful to pace myself and be realistic of what is do-able. I’d be sprinting to drop it off in time at 9 am before the last chime of the bell. For example, in college I would have a paper due for a Shakespeare class – and find myself only starting to read the entire play at 7 pm the night before. The paper would commence somewhere around 2 am.

Hydrate Yourself: It’s A Marathon, Not A Sprint I can’t emphasize enough on this one. With that pace in mind, I’ve taken the long view and given my self room to experiment and test the waters … and run a marathon of sprints over a sprint and burn. I have stared doing such activities in ly life too.
