Whenever someone sends me a book to read or a PDF to view, I save it in a folder in Dropbox called “To Read” so that I can view it easily on my iPad. If someone wants me to send them a text file for use on their blog (unless they want it in Google Drive, which will happen occasionally). I have a folder I share with my speaking agent.
The tips run the gamut of the Mac OS X landscape — from apps included with Mountain Lion to the somewhat daunting Terminal to third-party apps — and all but a few have screencasts to accompany the tips, walking you through the process as you go. I’m a big fan of both David and Brett, and this work further cements that.
