When she was a junior in high school, Arrington founded the nonprofit ScholarCHIPS, an organization that provides college scholarships, mentoring, mental health support and a peer support network to children of incarcerated parents.

The surprises began with dinner at the swankiest restaurant from their hometown in Brussels and progressed to skydiving, matching tattoos and a “bachelor’s” weekend in Ireland.
