Joe Sharpe is the Senior Director of Managed Payroll Services at IRIS, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in payroll, HR, and compliance. As the Founder and CO-CEO of CAVU HCM, Joe successfully led the company through its sale to IRIS in 2023, enhancing payroll solutions for numerous businesses. His career began as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he honed his analytical skills and deepened his understanding of compliance. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Joe owns a large tax practice and resolution firm, Total Income Tax & Total IRS Relief, dedicated to assisting clients with their tax challenges. Joe holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Accounting from Bradley University and proudly served as an infantry veteran in the US Marine Corps. James Carlson

James Carlson is a seasoned Financial Advisor with over 33 years of experience at Country Financial. Inducted into the Country Financial Hall of Fame in 2012, James has built a reputation as a trusted expert in financial planning. Before his career in finance, he dedicated 13 years as a teacher and coach at Peoria Notre Dame High School, where he honed his skills in mentorship and guidance. In addition to his professional accomplishments, James values family above all else. He has been happily married for 36 years and is a proud father of three daughters—two of whom are part of his professional team—along with four beloved grandchildren. Beyond his work, James is deeply committed to giving back, having run a week-long basketball camp for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for over 32 years.
