My mind is already planning the next Board meeting and how I will organize my desk and the filing at the new place. I want all my filing to be up to date and my desk to be neat and tidy. Filing - We all have filing to do and when you are leaving it is even more important to get it done.

If the participants are in different time zones it would be beneficial to put that information in the meeting comments. If you need to book hotel, air or a car rental as part of the meetingplanning, I put the appointment in the calendar with confirmation numbers and toll free numbers to call if they need assistance.

If you know what works best for you and if your job is 80/20 on what you like then you can put up with the small stuff like filing and filling out expense forms. But if it is a job that goes on and on with nothing to show for it I get bored. This is an important thing to know.
