In fact, by being offline for a large part of my two weeks up north I was better able to connect to my tasks, goals and projects far better when I was disconnected rather than when I was connected to the Internet. It really mirrors my recent experience, except I didnt completely switch to Asana for everything.

If you really can’t afford to hire a consultant right now, then make it a goal to be able to afford it soon. But I realized, later on, that they were totally on board with change… they just didn’t want to become a cubicle company and didn’t become freelancers to achieve that goal. That’s what they *left*.

Speaking of errors, specifically about error messages, after 30 days of learning Objective C I am totally convinced that the error messages in Xcode were invented by a joyous and careless hermit, with the only goal of driving programmers crazy. I also added a Help and FAQ section. Program received “BAD_EXC” message. Wow, really?

I am goals-oriented and have great attention to detail. This sounds like the generic stuff you put on your resume when you’re just out of college and don’t realize that your resume shouldn’t sound like everyone else’s, and also that everyone in the world is lying when they say they are “goals-oriented.” No one is goals-oriented.
