Luckily, in my office, we dress in casual clothes all of the time and we do have a corporate policy of being able to dress up in a costume for this event. This has been a tradition in our office for quite some time now, where people would decorate the office, dress up in funky costumes and bring baked treats for everyone.
It even happened to me a few times, where people would create files themselves, then send it around to others to review and make changes, but never save it on the network drive. This happens to office workers all of the time. Then a new person comes in, taking over the work and wonders why they cant find the old file.
That’s what The Weather Network is for. Most of the time, they tend to stand in the middle of the elevator, for easier access to exit. If you have a cold, make sure to cover your mouth and nose, even if you don’t have a tissue. No one wants you to report the weather. You will make your day and everyone else’s a better one.
Another option is to create templates in Microsoft Office and either e-mail them to everyone or place them on a network drive for everyone to access. This way, everyone will have to follow the exact same details as are set out. This way, everyone will be using the exact same documents , spreadsheet , etc. so that they dont get changed.
