But, how do you make sure to organize all of those business cards so that you CAN do the right FOLLOW UP? The most effective networkers have a system to manage/organize business cards and their contacts. They are then placed in a reference (Rolodex) file by type of business and not the name. :-).
Even though 6 billion emails are sent every day, almost no one agrees about simple things like email etiquette, how to organize a note, or whether emails are considered private or not. Read it, respond, and file it. Why is it that when it comes to emails, there are no accepted standards? Don’t forward chain letters.
