Thats how I get things done around my office, since I work for about 30 staff, which includes 5 managers. to the president, 3 VPs, and the HR manager. My suggestion to this is to be persistent. Thats how I ended up getting my current job. You should see my follow-up list. Its quite large.

I found that my job transformed into a sudo management position with a great amount of responsibility. As a male, I have worked as a admin several times throughout my career. I enjoyed the position for the same reasons that you mentioned in your blog post. I never found it weird or uncomfortable.

You mentioned that youve spoken to your supervisor, HR, etc. Did you take it up each level all the way to the top? What I discovered is a time saver and e-mail management tool that is a best-kept secret. I have written previously that to manage my work e-mail better I asked friends and family to send e-mails to my home rather than work. You will notice your Inbox will be less crowded and easier to manage.
