I job hopped because I was unmotivated, but my company didn’t motivate me because they knew I would probably leave anyway… I wonder if I was more loyal to the organisations they may have invested more time in keeping me happy. A huge pro for all of my job hopping is the amount of different experience I have as an assistant.
For everyone that arrived for the seminar I was able to offer them a safe and calm environment. Fortunately the police managed to stop the would be terrorists but it did lead to chaos on the transport network. Many of the delegates were worried about getting home.
In my industry, this seems like an exception to the rule, although good business sense dictates this is how supervisors and colleagues should be for the best work environment and professional relationships. This will be a competitive advantage to all businesses who have this kind of diverse environment in that they will have the advantage to build relationships with their business partners. (BM). I am jobhunting right now and notice that the majority of companies are asking for two or more skill sets. I am excited.
I make this distinction because working at home means there is a less corporate environment, less office politics, less red tap and rigid rules, and less stress and craziness which will work against you because you aren't really in a business environment. When you jobhunt keep this in mind.
