As a result, my email went from around 30 a day to well over 150. I already knew the theories of inbox zero, yet here I was, drowning in email. This made finding a specific email very time consuming. Back then, any technical problem that I had -- phone, computer, palm pilot (remember, there weren't smart phones back then.), However, when I went to finish what I was doing, I realized that only part of my keyboard was working.   I used my iPhone to access email and my family laptop to do some things on-line.

In case you wonder why I chose to use Blackberry instead of an iPhone or an Android phone, there are a variety of reasons, but the biggest is the encryption of data that only Blackberry offers. I am not a big fan of touch screen keyboards as they are not a true QWERTY keyboard. The touch screen keyboard won’t give you a fast typing rate because you have to type with one finger versus all 10. If you don’t have it with you, whip out your cell phone and send yourself a text message or email.

Specifically, when I use the car bluetooth to dial a number, meaning, I tell the car navigation system to dial a stored number or spell-out the number, the phone resets. I’ve had to resort to dialing on the phone, disconnecting and then using the car navigation system to redial. The problem is that the phone is very heavy.

Moving users from one account to another was as seamless as two mouse clicks (even better with a nice new Keyboard Maestro macro as well!). Activity List – I’m so impressed with this part.

Although it’s been more than 7 months since I’ve published it, I still get a few re-tweets per week and a decent number of monthly thank you emails. After I finish, I send the generated mind map as an email attachment. For that, I’m using Quicksilver, the MacJournal shortcut and self-addressed emails. That’s all.

Sometimes I wish I had something to warn me when I am with someone with a cell phone so I can know that we are going to be interrupted. I find it frustrating when people either text while in a conversation or are constantly taking phone calls. Apparently not, when its by phone. In an emergency, the cell phone is a useful tool.
