For years I’ve been a champion of steering clear of email when you’re trying to manage your tasks. Now I wouldn’t say that I’ve seen the light of day and realized that you can use any email app as a to do list – far from it. There are plenty of reasons why you wouldn’t want to use any old email app in that way.

I am not a big fan of touch screen keyboards as they are not a true QWERTY keyboard. The touch screen keyboard won’t give you a fast typing rate because you have to type with one finger versus all 10. If you don’t have it with you, whip out your cell phone and send yourself a text message or email.

I don’t use folders in email*. I’m a keyboarder most of the time. What you can't see is that if there's more info I need for any of the things on the calendar, they're inside the Notes section of that appointment. So everything ends up in just one place. . Then I archive the stuff and delete the folder.
