If you want to reduce the stress associated with the holiday season, get an early start on holiday planning. However, many people run around stressed because they’re saying yes to everybody but themselves. Even if we can use this word with our spouse and children, we still have a hard time saying it to other people. It’s important to learn how and when to say no. I’m not saying that you should be selfish and never help anybody out.
Work on difficult jobs first, or at a time when you’re at peak performance, saving the less stressful tasks for when you have less energy.
