Rare and unusual times have presented themselves as a result of the onset of Coronavirus COVID-19. As an office, we learned just how many Assistants across the nation and world have become impacted. While we anticipated learning of non-essential business closures leading to working from home, we did not anticipate the high number of Assistants around the world struggling with the uncertainties, isolation and communication barriers brought on by the circumstances.
Wow. A lot has happened in just a short period of time. It’s enough to make your head spin, right? In the past two weeks, the world as we know it has dramatically changed in response to the COVID-19 virus. Many professionals are now working from home for the first time with little to no preparation. In some areas, schools have also closed, which means these same folks are trying to care for their kids and prevent them from falling too far behind in their studies.
It’s kind of crazy how just a month ago I was writing these blog posts for a relatively small group of home business owners. Today, while we’re dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, the numbers of people working from home has exploded. If I have ever doubted how quickly the world around me can change, this situation is proof that everything can change in a moment.
