On September 7 th , 2021 I will have run a work from home business for 14 years successfully. Over that time, I’ve discovered that although my little one-woman show gets categorized as a small business, that moniker doesn’t always fit or benefit my home office operation. Instead, my business is better categorized as a micro-business as are a large number of home-based businesses.

The urban air mobility (buzzword alert) company Joby made its public markets debut last week. As with many new public offerings, it was done via a SPAC. The company is developing a five-seat electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, pictured below in-flight (click to enlarge).
