Both times I’ve replaced my phone as quickly as is humanly possible because I am just lost without it (sometimes I am literally lost without it thanks to my dependence on Google maps to get me about London!). Although I still do print everything off this is a great app to have on your phone so you can check your details on the go.

If you receive a file that was written in the Microsoft Office 2007 format, you can download the patch called Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats. It will take a short period of time to convert the file each time you open it, but it saves you time and money in the long run.

A template can be downloaded here. Make sure to provide feedback (positive and/or negative) so that everyone can obtain ideas from what is being said. After the meeting, provide a copy of the meeting minutes to everyone involved in the meeting. You will notice that your meetings will run much smoother once you apply these methods.

In a nut shell, you download the free software , install it and it’s always running in the background. It might even keep you reading information in the browser, instead of focusing on your original task. There is a more productive method that you can use to conduct your research. There is a new service called Kallout.

Sometimes a better way to communicate would be picking up the phone or meeting someone face to face. Many of these free background and smilie packages (and screen savers for that matter) that are available for download on the web contain viruses and/or spyware. I agree with downloading backgrounds.

I think that was also the day when I started to use my app as an excuse for not going out or as a standard answer at the phone. I can get pathological, I warned you… Frustration Level (0 – 100): 5 – That Quartz Core thing proved to be a little bit too time consuming, but in the end everything went well. Complicated.
