If you’re going to write an iPhone app, I definitely recommend you check out this collaborative project. Frustration Level (0 – 1oo): 45 – UIDatePicker is still a nasty thing, not to mention that working with time in Objective C is a pain in the arse. It was just 2 weeks and 2 days since I started this challenge.

He was also an international traveler so I had to learn everything about time zones, flights and everything in between when your boss travels to a foreign country. In those days it wasn’t a computer where you could see a face on the screen, but the information was printed out on paper and if you wanted a photo, it came in the mail a week later. For fun, one of the officers asked me to put my name and birthdate in to see what came up.

Find a time that works for you to check your bosss e-mail account. If I am waiting for something, I will check it mid-day, but I definitely feel out of the loop if I dont check it at all, so schedule a time and make it a regular part of your day.

Like you, I list the new assistant as not only a contact but a definite resource for future references. As you previously stated, this is a great way to not only meet new people but you can expand your list of contacts to include the new assistant. Secure the date and time in his or her calendar, taking into consideration travel time if outside the office. Does your boss need to be at the meeting?
