A survey says that 40% of American workers report that their job are very or extremely stressful. Stress is a factor that we need to manage. There is no job that is stress-proof. It is a fact that, as office-workers, we go through some stressful situations in the many aspects of our office life. What is my point here?
I know you're stressed. Dwight" has inhabited the cubicle next to you for three very, very long years. Claim you didn't get the phone message from your boss over the weekend because your service sucks. That's why I'm here to tell you that it's really OK if you: 1. I forgot something! It cuts a little to close to the bone.
Sometimes it is better to speak on the phone or in person. By invading each other's cubicle space or walking into an office without knocking. Sometimes we are so busy and stressed it is hard to remember to say please and thank you, but remembering goes a long way towards avoiding those work toes. Let's be kind to one another.
