In the course of conducting normal business communication with him, I said something in a marketing tone (via e-mail) that wasn’t received the way I meant it to come across due to cultural differences. Sometimes it’s best to just walk away from the keyboard.

Speaking to the subject coordinator today, she said that the course is trying to keep up with the times in terms of new technology and media.
