Put pen to paper (or finger tips to keyboard) and record important dates in a calendar, notebook or on your mobile device. It also promotes sleep, which can improve focus and help consolidate memories. So hang up the phone, find a quiet place and focus. Stay organized.
That’s a key point and a very important question for every blogger who had been wrecked more than one keyboard writing. But the most important part of the question is not “how” but “why”. Why would you want to convert that traffic? What you developed so far was only discipline. A set of rules followed closely.
This is where bloggers get a head start: if you have a blog, you have a good reason to put fingers to keyboard on a regular basis. I don’t know who wrote them and why they thought they had the right to sit before a keyboard and litter the Web with, um, substandard writing. So it’s a good exercise, although a bit painful.
I have been so passionately involved in my work this morning I totally forgot I made myself a nice cup of tea and sat it next to my keyboard. As I was reading your post I literally gasped out loud. LOL I LOVE this post. I have stared doing such activities in ly life too.
I’m not talking about the manuals that promote get-rich-quick schemes or dodgy products peddled by snake-oil salespersons. No matter what the topic is, before you put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard, be sure that you have the qualifications to write about whatever you are about to share. The problem? MacJournal Shortcut MacJournal also features a keyboard shortcut, so every time I feel my idea will be pretty close to a blog post (as opposed to other types of ideas, like blog post series, guest post ideas, strategies or just interesting bits and pieces) I use this shortcut directly. I have stared doing such activities in ly life too.
It’s a great feeling to be able to sit down at the keyboard, fully confident in your ability, clean of any doubt or future-worry and, is especially great when the recommended 8.25 hours of sleep is achieved. not, I tend to have a rather greedy “Delete&# key on my keyboard. Only I insert a supplemental step: I ask them politely to leave my blog if we’re not having nothing in common. If they leave, it’s ok.If Reply 34 Ash @ The Middle Finger Project November 9, 2010 at 12:47 pm Yes! They must have liked the name.
Write down anything, and I mean *anything*, that would potentially be a new blog post, book idea, promotion, whatever. so that I can capture ideas when away from pen and paper (or keyboard and screen). Jordan Cooper ( @NotAProBlog ) January 15, 2010 at 1:17 am As a stand-up comic, I could attest to this wholeheartedly.
Many people take advantage of that openness on another level, which is to say we’ve all had trouble with copyright law and keeping our work our own. How do you deal with copyright infringements and people stealing your work? It’s funny. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, you know? Just grasp that moment, eh?
