We traveled, bought a Jet Ski, joined a volleyball league, threw parties and regularly met friends for dinner and drinks. The Yavapai Coalition for Compassion and Justice administers several programs which address poverty: Open Door distributes winter clothing, coats, and blankets for kids and adults. Circles of Support surrounds these families with well-trained community volunteer mentors who offer guidance and support.

Yesterday was extra special because our church family brought in big Christmas bags filled with clothes and toys for children in our community, clear plastic boxes filled with items for Children in Mexico, and gift certificates for places like Target for families in need in our Las Vegas Community - providing over 1,500 gifts in one day.

I wasn’t pursuing my passion for travel, and I didn’t have a good work-life balance. I love being able to get more sleep, work in comfy clothes, take a break to cuddle my dog, and manage my own schedule. Once restrictions are lifted, I look forward to being able to travel and work from anywhere!
