Dress in comfortable clothes (I recommend Hawaiian shirts). Over the holidays, my husband had paid time off and I was still typing away. In other words, the ability to work and travel. In a number of cases I’ve been able to use my travel to fund my writing. You can enjoy a quiet, stress-free work environment.

Tame Your Email 1. Turn off email alerts when emails arrive in your inbox. If you know that you will never answer an email, delete it right away. Create email folders same as you would for word doc and paper files. Examples: If you have a full email box, then schedule an hour each morning to tackle it.
