Go to a restaurant you’ve never been to before. Listen to the sounds of the city as it wakes up and gets busy. Be sure to go to the exhibit hall and collect a lot of brochures, businesscards and free samples from every booth. Never camped out? Rent a camper. Look through your list of contacts.
As of now, my website is more like a businesscard – something I can point prospective clients towards after I’ve already made initial contact. Just like handing out free samples of your latest candy or cookie. So you have to give out samples. Gee, what an appealing proposition.
