After spending many days in the Atrium of the Radisson I was really excited about seeing the rest of the hotel. Within the hotel there are a number of conference and meeting spaces, all of which were used regularly throughout our stay in Glasgow, and a variety of restaurant and bar areas.
So I made my way down to the TwoTwentyTwo restaurant and bar. The atrium looked particularly stunning in the evening. The Landmark also has a two-AA Rosetta restaurant called The Winter Garden. Not only was the food fantastic, the selection was excellent and the menu was incredibly reasonable.
The atrium lobby is beautifully designed with Asian inspired decor. There are also a variety of cafes, restaurant and shops dotted throughout the lobby. Luckily they gave me good directions to my room otherwise I may have got a little lost! In fact, there are over 1,000 pieces of Asian art throughout the hotel.
A massive atrium at the centre of the hotel gives the place a real heart. Our final destination was one of Montgomery’s best known restaurants Wintzell’s Oyster Bar. And with most restaurants pictures say much more than words. Before we could test this history on our whistle stop tour we checked in to our hotel.
