After spending many days in the Atrium of the Radisson I was really excited about seeing the rest of the hotel. Within the hotel there are a number of conference and meeting spaces, all of which were used regularly throughout our stay in Glasgow, and a variety of restaurant and bar areas.

You can imagine my delight when I found out the room was in fact a suite, with separate bedroom and living space, the bed was huge and I managed to not only take a bath but also wandered around in the complementary bathrobe for a good few hours. So I made my way down to the TwoTwentyTwo restaurant and bar.

The atrium lobby is beautifully designed with Asian inspired decor. There are also a variety of cafes, restaurant and shops dotted throughout the lobby. A massive atrium at the centre of the hotel gives the place a real heart. Our final destination was one of Montgomery’s best known restaurants Wintzell’s Oyster Bar. And with most restaurants pictures say much more than words. Before we could test this history on our whistle stop tour we checked in to our hotel.
