The atrium looked particularly stunning in the evening. Luckily, it was an unusually bright day in London which meant the blue sky poured in through the atrium roof and the light was beautiful. So I made my way down to the TwoTwentyTwo restaurant and bar. The hotel looked completely different in the day light.

The atrium lobby is beautifully designed with Asian inspired decor. Located in the design district of Dallas, which is just north of downtown, the Anatole sits on a 45 acre plot with a whole host of indoor and outdoor amenities. Walking into the huge lobby I was welcomed by the very helpful reception staff.

Looking down into the central atrium, I found people dancing in silence. Initially, I didn’t pay much attention. But one night, as I walked out of my room to get some air, I heard the sound of sneakers squeaking and the occasional laughter. It was a silent disco!

A massive atrium at the centre of the hotel gives the place a real heart. Before we could test this history on our whistle stop tour we checked in to our hotel. The Montgomery DoubleTree is the Hilton group at its best and was certainly one of the best value hotels we stayed in while in the south.
