Having low self-esteem or confidence issues can be a real challenge in life, particularly in the office and particularly for assistants. Although not all of us are blessed with unwavering self-confidence (I certainly am not!) Confidence comes from knowing what you are really good at. Here are my top three: Skills.

And if trades are, you know, you don’t have to go to a four year college and take out loans and everything, and you can just start in the trades and maybe go to kind of a trade school, then that could give you a pretty big leg up and there’s more stability.
