Considering how many meetings assistants are asked to organise it is important that we manage our meetings effectively and we have everyone there that is supposed to be there. Here are a few tips which will help you get attendees to your meetings. Plan the meeting in advance. Write an agenda.
Determine the agenda and who is presenting. Send out the meeting invitation to all participants. Determine catering needs for the meeting. Order food for the meeting. Create the meetingagenda for the department head’s approval. Gather all materials for the agenda and participant materials.
Below are a few tips so the task is not as daunting: Filling in the blanks I take minutes on a laptop so it is easy to make a template ahead of time which is based on the agenda. I put the items from the agenda on the template in the same order and with a space to put the discussion and decisions/actions from the meeting.
