Many organizations (such as the International Association of Administrative Professionals) offer certifications in office skill proficiency. But what most AEAP members stress is honesty. "Be AEAP members say honesty and trustworthiness are key traits for which employers are looking. Be confident, not arrogant.

I have also looked into AEAP, which by all accounts, appears to be a great organization. I need something that expands my education and makes me more dynamic to my workplace and my community. I want to make a difference, not simply go to meetings and chat. However, I can't find that it has a local chapter.
