For instance, I have folders for the Board of Directors, International, Personal and one for Work Information. I get internal newsletters and other information-type e-mails so I have a folder called News and dump everything like that in there until I have a chance to go back and read it or delete it. You usually answer according to what you see on the display and say “Hi&# , thinking it is an internal call, but they are transferring an outside call so you end up sounding unprofessional. When the Receptionist, or a co-worker, transfers a call without letting you know they are sending it. 411 Look Up 411.ca
If the meeting is internal, I send a meeting request, but for external meetings I tend to just confirm with them the meeting details by phone or e-mail. I know we are probably stuck with the current system of trying to remember log-in names and passwords, but thankfully at work if you do forget your password the administrator can re-set it, and then you have the option of changing it again. Internal meetings can usually be changed more easily so start there. Realize that nothing is cast in stone and things can change so be prepared to make the necessary adjustments. Your boss is not trying to sabotage you. Assess which meetings can be adjusted without too much disruption. 411 Look Up 411.ca
If it is an internal meeting, has a meeting space been booked? Smith to discuss strategies for upcoming marketing conference).
