Office Dynamics International awarded two organizations its Star Achievement Series ® training program (Level 1) in support of AdministrativeProfessionals. Office Dynamics International, the globally recognized authority for administrative training and development, made two sizable in-kind donations in the month of March.
Up next, for anyone who tends to protest, “I’m not the creative type,” Lisa Olsen — one of the master trainers on the Office Dynamics team — offered a big wake-up call with her workshop, “Tapping Into Your Creative Energy.” Stay tuned for Part 2 of our administrativeprofessionals conference recap!
In this episode, Shelli shares insight from her 20 years of experience in the administrativeprofessional world and discusses supporting two executives with different personalities (who have never had an assistant). If you send business gifts to employees, clients or sales prospects, Goody is a game changer.
You may be done with high school or college, but you have plenty of opportunities for learning through seminars, workshops, in-house training, and conferences. I have been in the training and professional speaking business for almost 20 years. I was with a small group of executive assistants. Are you good at sharing what you know?

An Adminologist is an administrativeprofessional who studies their profession. An Adminologist is one of today’s brightest administrativeprofessionals. For example, you might think the scope of my work is training assistants, writing books, producing educational videos and conducting workshops for assistants.

Just over a week ago, I had the honor of attending the Office Dynamics Annual Conference for Administrative Excellence. As a proud former administrativeprofessional, I consider myself intimately familiar with the unique challenges—and unique rewards—of the field. When it comes to conferences, I’ve attended many.
But before I get into that, I want to say Happy AdministrativeProfessionals Week to all the fantastic men and women who call this their Career of Choice! I met an assistant, years ago, in one of my workshops who was an excellent proofreader so I hired her to do a great deal of proofreading for me. Be creative and have fun!
When I read the definition of optimization, I immediately think of two things: Part of my “job” is being brought into companies by senior leaders to help make their administrative partners function at their best. I have all the tools and answers to help administrativeprofessionals be successful. And guess what?
