Some people in the office were trying to get the remote working as we had a PowerPoint presentation coming up and were calling it things like remote thingy , remote slide clicker, wireless mouse so I finally asked, "Does anyone know what the official name for that thing is?" What is the proper etiquette when addressing or writing to a President? Here is a video link on the proper etiquette to address a President. Everyone up here calls him Obama and our Prime Minister is called Harper. Why do we not use their full name? Or it is that we just dont know how to address them so revert to last names?

It can be that way in your professional life as well. How you present yourself and what you wear to the office can help how you feel about what you are doing. If you are in a smart suit with appropriate shoes and hair done, you feel professional and act and speak accordingly. Sometimes it is all in how you feel isnt it?
I went to a writing workshop and the woman who was presenting said that comedians are only as funny as their writers. With me it is a hit and miss sort of thing and sometimes I am funny, sometimes I am melancholy. How do comedians do it? Phone etiquette is important, remember to leave your name and phone number twice when leaving a voicemail- once at the beginning and then at the end of the call. Need a speaker/presenter? The art of saying thank you can sometimes get lost in our busyness, but here are some examples of times it would be nice to send a card from work: To thank presenters who speak at your workplace. What a neat idea for businesses too. To thank an employee for showing initiative and going the extra mile. Thanks for sharing this service!
