I’ve been an EA for quite some time now, in fact I started working in 2003 so it has been a decade. The skills you pick up along the assistant career path are invaluable and I for one would not be able to do the job I do today if I hadn’t started as a Team Administrator back in 2003. I know of companies that are constantly back to the banks because they need to supply a big amount of product however self sufficiency should be the top of a business’s agenda. This problem with credit was highlighted in 2003 by the FT (media) – everybody ignored it. I believe we will be out of recession by early next year.
